Welcome back to The Breakdown ya’ll!

In sad news, The Breakdown will probably be a bit shorter than you’re used to for the summer months.

In happy news, the weather is scorching today… at least it is where I live. I have a feeling this is gonna be a really hot summer.

Today’s content comes to us from: Andy’s iLL, Dr. Ozi, Marc Rémillard, and ImanoS.

Let’s go!

Andysill1

To get things started, we have Andy’s iLL. The London native takes Karetus‘ unreal electro original, Revenge On A Noisy Neighbour, and morphs it into a slamming glitch-hop production.

While this remix sounds very similar to the original in many aspects, it’s hard to deny the fact that this is a banger. Growls, bubbles, lasers, and so much more; this production has got a little bit of everything and is sure to tickle your dance-bone.

dr.ozi

Dr. Ozi makes a return to The Breakdown in the form of a free download on Borgore’s label Buygore. The duo teams up with young Florida resident AlexAnder to bring us this massive drumstep/DnB production.

Right off the bat, soulful vocals grab you, pull you in, and lead you to the drop where fat bass, hard-hitting drums, and ridiculous synths will rattle you to your core. Enter in some lasers and you can sense that Down Low has only just begun. The second drop will likely make you lose your mind. Get ready to sweat.

marc remillard

A good pal of mine, Marc Rémillard, makes a return to The Breakdown with his summer anthem Turn It Up. You’re all lucky enough to make it your summer anthem too, because Marc made this a free download!

The intro is filled with steady drums, crisp percussion, warm synths, and inviting melodies. I can see why this is his summer anthem. The drop is comprised of bright synths, hectic lasers, and a low synth growl along with much more. This is perfect electro for the summertime…don’t sleep on this.

trapnation

Wrapping up today’s edition of The Breakdown, we have ImanoS second trap mix for Jay-Z’s Life + Times.

Featuring 18 exclusive, never before heard remixes of artists from the Roc Nation camp, ImanoS hand-picked his favorite producers of right now to take on the remix duties.

Grab a beer, go sit outside, and turn up this really fresh hour long mix.
