Welcome back to The Breakdown ya’ll!
In sad news, it’s snowing in my part of the country… spring is having a tough time showing its face this year.
In happy news, school and classes should be done for most of you around the country. Enjoy it!
I was lucky enough to receive a super-early advanced copy of Black Tiger Sex Machine‘s newest EP from the family at Kannibalen Records and now the EP preview mix is finally here for ya’ll to enjoy too.
Destroy It EP comes out next Tuesday on May 7th, but as they usually do, the masked marauders that are Black Tiger Sex Machine have been kind enough to upload a tasteful preview mix featuring a pair of original mixes, as well as 3 remixes to round out the package.
The title track, Destroy It, is big room electro with upbeat percussion and a massive gritty synth that rings through your head. The second original, Tribal Gangs, is a collaboration with fellow Kannibalen Records artist Kai Wachi. This track packs a filthy punch with grungy low-end synths, amped vocal bits, and a screaming top line.
Drivepilot, Urban Contact, and Rob De Large are all on Destroy It remix duty for the EP.
Drivepilot keeps the heavy electro flowing with his balls-to-the-wall electro rendition.
Urban Contact adds a touch of funky electro to the mix with bright synths and deep wobbles.
Rob De Large gets eerie with a dark techno take which runs at a cool 111bpm.
Have a listen below! Set for release May 7.
Save The Planet EP is a unique and creative EP featuring a single original mix and a remix from Coolcoolcool to compliment it.
Save The Planet is an extremely percussive and atmospheric production utilizing powerful drum patterns, rolling synths, and a flurry of other intricately arranged sounds. The Coolcoolcool remix is a smooth and flowing house-like rendition which relies heavily on percussive elements and white noise, much like the original. This EP is perfect for those taking the party into the early a.m.
Have a listen below. Info. on the release date when we have it.
Info. regarding who they are and their social media networks is lacking.
If anyone can provide me with links, I’d greatly appreciate it.
